The
U.S. Navy Memorial Store’s "Gear Locker" fully supports the
mission of the United States Navy Memorial and offers merchandise from most
branches of the military. A percentage of all sales is
contributed directly to the Navy Memorial to support its numerous programs and
educational exhibits.
In
the store we carry merchandise that caters to all ages and interests. The
discerning collector can purchase Museum-quality items, while the young at
heart and age can purchase anything from inexpensive souvenirs, caps, and
clothing – to toys that are fun to play with, enrich the mind, and pay
tribute to the United States Navy Memorial.

Conveniently
located on Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. (between 7th
and 9th
Streets) – halfway between the U.S. Capitol and the White House, the
United States Navy Memorial honors the men and women of the Sea Services
– past, present and future. The outdoor plaza features a “Granite Sea” map of the world, towering
masts with signal flags, fountain pools and waterfalls and The Lone
Sailor™ statue. The Plaza is frequently used for official
ceremonies, public concerts and performances. The
D.C. Metro’s Green and Yellow Line stops at Archives-Navy Memorial, steps
from the Memorial.
Just
adjacent to the outdoor plaza is the Naval Heritage Center, a visitor’s
center with educational displays about the contributions of the men and women
of the Sea Services (Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine), The
Navy Log – the permanent National Registry of Sea Service where members,
veterans and their families can register a permanent record of their service
for free (and search for shipmates), a 242-seat theater that airs Navy-related
films daily – including a Blue Angels movie, a nautical-themed gift shop,
and a Media Resource Center for researchers.
