| This is reminiscent of my youth and my wife on home coming with my son I think its powerful.

"The Homecoming", Life size, United States Navy Memorial, Washington, D.C., 1989 - Stanley Bleifeld has been an artist in the public eye since the 1950's. He was selected from hundreds of American sculptors to create a national monument for the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C.
Another famous larger than life sculpture, Lone Sailor, sits on a site near the Capital building in the Granite Plaza of the United States Navy Memorial. Replicas are also available here at the Gear Locker. |
